Tony Lorenz, CMM is the Co-Founder and CEO of bXb Group, LLC, a holding company that offers marketing leaders' technology, communications, and interactive services. The unique strengths of bXb's two entities -- BOB.tv and Culture22 Communications interactive agency -- are leveraged to deliver expanded solutions to global marketers and the communities they serve.
Within a span of 25 years, Tony founded ProActive, an agency providing live and fully integrated experiential marketing services, and co-founded rEvolution, a premier sports marketing firm. Upon selling ProActive to Freeman, the industry's leading brand in BtoB events, Tony fully integrated the two companies and became the leader of Freeman's creative team.
Tony serves on several civic boards including Business Marketing Association and Lurie Children's Hospital Foundation, in addition to serving an even longer list of leadership positions. His most recent accolades include joining BizBash's list of "Top 50 Innovators in the Events Industry" and earning the 2012 EIBTM TechWatch Award as creator of BOB.tv.
Tony holds a BS in Accounting from Indiana University. As a life-long learner, he carries full alumni status with the Harvard Business School through its Owner President Management (OPM) program, a three-year program crafted for entrepreneurs with the objective of taking their business to the next level.
Gretchen Eckland is Founder and CEO of Culture22, and Partner and Chief Creative Officer of bXb Group, LLC, and BOB.tv. She has developed and executed high-impact branding and creative strategies for a variety of BtoB and BtoC companies. These come to life across the full spectrum of communication vehicles, including websites, interactive video, iPad applications, environmental branding, advertising campaigns, guerrilla marketing, print collateral, and live/online experiences.
Gretchen has had the pleasure of producing a wide range of creative and interactive technology deliverables for leading companies, including McDonald's, TATA Consultancy Services, HIMSS, Toyota, Hitachi Medical Systems, Unilever, American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and of course, BOB.tv.
She has extensive experience bringing multi-faceted creative campaigns to life at a variety of physical events, including RSNA, NADA, ASPS, Oracle OpenWorld, SAP Sapphire, GlobalShop, MinExpo, and more. The creative experience extends far beyond trade shows and annual conferences to one-of-a-kind physical events, including the Chicago 2016 Olympic Bid, and the city-wide, multi-day event, Chicago Ideas Week.
Prior to founding Culture22 in 2001, Gretchen served as Senior Account Executive for a full-service, technology-driven marketing communications agency where she led the planning and development of highly dynamic online experiences. She has served in leadership positions with several professional organizations, including serving as President of the Chicago chapter of IABC.
Pete Georgiadis is the Founder and CEO of Synetro Group, a private investment and strategic advisory firm and Chairman of bXb Group, LLC. A serial entrepreneur, he has more than 20 years experience advising, building, and operating distinctive business-to-business companies.
Prior to founding Synetro Group, Pete was the Chief Operating Officer of Lante Corporation where he led the strategic repositioning and operating transformation of the company from an established systems integrator into a high-growth Internet consulting leader. He also prepared the company for a successful IPO
Pete joined Lante from McKinsey and Company, where he was an Associate Principal and a leader in the firm’s Marketing and Sales & Channel Management practices. Prior to McKinsey, he worked for Hewlett-Packard and Orco Ltd. in several marketing and general management roles in the UK, Switzerland, and Greece.
He holds a B.Sc. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Sussex (UK), an M.Sc. in Computer Science from London’s Imperial College, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. Pete is actively involved in the Chicago business community, and a committed supporter of a number of education and social service delivery organizations.
